Visit your GP

Your GP should be the first port of call if you are concerned about your wellbeing. Many surgeries have GPs that specialise in mental health, so it is advisable to request them when booking an appointment. Your GP is in a great position to assess and advise next steps, and a face-to-face meeting is particularly effective.
